Cy-Fair Christian Church

This is the front of the church from the road. To the left is entering the old church building, which is now the fellowship hall. The new sanctuary was built in 1998 and the Impact Center (gym, teen center, preschool/nursery complex) was built in 2003.

Here are some pics of my office. My chairs, desk, bookshelf, wall shelves, clock, lamp, mirrors and file cabinet all came from IKEA. . . cool store! On the bottom picture, the black thing under the light switch is a storage can with candy in it. I've had lots of visitors! The closet still has my boxes of books and props. I need to unpack those this week.

This is the preschool/Nursery check-in desk. To the right and left of this desk are doors leading back to classrooms. It's a U-shape with classrooms all along the outside and 2 large rooms in the middle.

This is the foyer area off of the preschool check-in area.

There are 3 nursery rooms, infants, walkers and runners. The top 2 pictures are in the walkers class. The bottom picture is the infants room.

This is one of 4 preschool rooms. This is the room Emma is in on Tuesday/Thursday.

This is the teacher supply room off of the preschool rooms

This is the elementary check-in station. The top picture shows the desk. The kids check in, then go up the stairs. The bottom picture shows the foyer at the elementary check-in.

This is a picture of the gym area. The curtain to the right seperates the gym into 2 sections.

These are 2 pics of the teen foyer area. The bottom picture has the elevator on the right and some of the elementary classes down the hall to the left.

This is 2 pictures of the teen hang out room, called the emergent cafe. The top picture is a counter cafe. The bottom picture shows the game tables and the booths around the perimeter. There are also 4 video game stations to the right.

This is the epicenter, which is a room with a stage and a fantastic audio/visual set-up. It's where my Sunday am worship time is at with the kids, but that will change. It's a multi-purpose room, teens, ladie's Bible Study, etc. I plan to give up the bells and whistles of the epicenter to have a place that can be designated just for kids, so we can decorate and be more kid-friendly.

This an area off of the foyer area, called "Heavenly Grounds". It's a fellowship area for coffee and donuts, etc

This is also in the foyer area. It's a TV screen that loops announcements and promo videos

This is the welcome center out in the foyer. There are 3 other kiosks like this one in the foyer area that ministries reserve to promote events and take sign-ups.

Here are a couple of pictures of the sanctuary. They are in the middle of a series on Revelation and the church as the "Bride of Christ". That is the reason for the columns and the gown. The bottom picture is where the band plays to the left of the stage.
